Giving Thanks

Yes, this year I'm sharing a post on what I'm grateful for. There's just too much to pass by without acknowledging, too many things I never want to take for granted. Life isn't always a bed of roses, but I have an abundance to be thankful for.

  1. A husband who's incredibly brilliant and charming, loving me in a way that's so genuine and unblemished—it's a love I never knew existed before.

  2. A delightful, healthy, and joyful baby who surprises me each day. He sleeps soundly for 12 hours straight, and witnessing his growth and brilliance makes me emotional nearly every other day.

  3. Amazing friends who stand by me and my family, providing immense love and support.

  4. Our lovely apartment with its breathtaking view, housing countless cherished memories.

  5. Good health—for myself, my husband, and our baby. A healthy pregnancy and birth, and the conscious efforts we make every day to stay active and lead healthy lives.

  6. My education and law degree, relieving me from the nightmare of returning to school or taking tests again, although those nightmares do linger.

  7. The current ability to stay home and spend time with the most incredible child in the world, while having the flexibility to work remotely and handle court calls.

  8. The abundance of food, water, and the pleasure of enjoying a glass of wine on any given day without second thoughts.

  9. This year has been about growth, learning, and self-discovery. I'm nurturing my creativity, doing things that bring me joy, and cherishing the wonderful relationships in my life.

  10. Knowing the depths of unconditional love and waking up every morning to the sight of the most beautiful man and little boy.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
