We took Lelya to her first movie on Wednesday (on her actual birthday) to none other than Madagascar 3 :) For those of you who don't know Lelya very well, Madagascar 1 & 2 are her absolute favorites. & A nice little unexpected surprise was that kids under age 3 get in for free :) We went to a 5:00 showing, and Lelya was sooo good the whole time minus the last 15-20 minutes when she started to get a little antsy. She sat in her own seat the {almost} entire time and pretty much took an entire medium bag of popcorn to her face and laughed out loud during funny parts and parts that weren't meant to be funny at all. I do love her random outbursts. The movie was actually really good, and we will definitely be owning it when it comes out to watch again and again and again and again and again. It was a really good time had by all :)
On our way to the big screen. Lelya snuck in a sippy cup & I prepped her for the AC with a comfy sweatshirt. Of course, the escalators were the reason she thought we brought her here...she's obsessed.
Clearly couldn't wait to dig into the popcorn. I've been a crazy health freak lately and uber concerned with Lelya's eating habits, and I really didn't want to give her movie theatre popcorn, but Aziz convinced me since it was her first movie experience & that we had to.
